Ever wonder why you can't find "The Tri-Cities" on a Map?  The Tri-Cities is the short name for Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco, WA!

The Tri-Cities is located in the Mid-Columbia River Basin where three rivers come together, the Columbia, Yakima, and Snake Rivers.  The area is surrounded by a desert, shrub-steppe environment, and enjoys all four seasons.  Winters have one to two snow falls that melt within a few days.  Summer days are hot, the nights cool, and the air dry, a most delightful combination.

The greater Tri-Cities Area has a population of 230,300 and a stable economy.  This stability is due to its diversification of Agriculture (vineyards, fruit orchards, potato, and grain crops), Hanford Nuclear Reservation, Pacific Northwest National Laboratories, Washington State University, Columbia Basin College, and light manufacturing.
